Who is Dahlia - introduction to aspirations and achievements.

 Born in Upstate, NY, Dahlia Midyette,  influenced by an environment that displayed a lack of diversity. The atmosphere did not fulfill her desire to see herself reflected in the world around her. Growing up in a world that did not even slightly mirror Black and Brown people in diverse avenues. She became destined to express beauty, traditions, images, creativity, stories, all from a minority perspective. Dahlia has a passion for uplifting and telling the stories of Black and other minority people through a multimedia lens.  She attends SUNY Buffalo State College and will graduate in Fall 2021. Studying communications, journalism, and African American studies, she has sharpened her photography, cinematography, and storytelling artistry.
