The time is now Puerto Rico.

 The time is now for Puerto Rico to take autonomy into its hands. Puerto Rico is currently considered a U.S. territory. The U.S controls the politics and economic state of Puerto Rico; the people do not have ownership of their governing system. Puerto Ricans may participate in U.S presidential elections' primary, but they cannot vote in the Presidential elections.                    A new bill was proposed to the U.S congress members, by Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez , Nydia Velazquez , and senator Bob Mendez ,  the Puerto Rico Self-Determination Act of 2020 . This bill will "recognize the right of the People of Puerto Rico to call a status convention through which the people would exercise their natural right to self-determination, and to establish a mechanism for congressional consideration of such decision, and for other purposes."
