Modern Design Resume with Classic Content

Resume building can be tedious and quite often boring, but it doesn't haven't to be. Design a unique twist on a resume that will explore and display experience and skillset in a creative manner. The resume that is given to employers should present the future employee in the best light. Below are examples of original resume ideas.

  1. Dahlia,
There is some really strong design here. All of the designs are either symmetrical or balance space really well. Design 5 seems to be lacking some detail in the spaces in the bottom left and top right corners, What information would go here? Or is it simply a design inside the columns? Design 8 makes great use of space, had all details added, and is unique. Overall, really strong work.

  2. All of these thumbnails look very thought out and are all very catching to the eye. There are some thumbnails (1,3,5) that aren't filling up the whole page. Maybe add some references there from people you've worked with?

Thumbnail 8 is definitely the most artistic one of the bunch. This type of resume would really turn heads if the company you were applying for had an artistic vision in mind!

    Great work!

  3. In these designs, I can get a sense of who you are which is important! 4 and 5 are very tasteful; lines are clean and there isn't too much details to where it becomes distracting. All of the designs are great but what would make your resume stand out is making room for your portfolio! A link to your linked in (if you have one) or link to portfolio website.

    Good job!

  4. The Comp looks great! Having the shapes that repeat are a strong idea for unifying the composition. Maybe there isn't an outline on the shapes, rather a screened color? That will avoid the shapes keeping the content too separated. Put the contact info directly under your name for the final; that way it is diagonal to the social media in the bottom right corner
